People often ask me why knitwear holds such a special place at Des Petits Hauts.
The answer is simple: knitwear isn't a trend. It's our foundation.
From day one, I've believed in pieces that last.
The ones we choose for their color.
The ones we keep for their feel.
The ones we love for the time they spend with us.
Creating knitwear isn't just about designing a sweater. It's about finding the right yarn.
Testing, starting over. The one that will remain a staple in your wardrobe for years to come.
We work mainly with fine yarns (mohair, alpaca, merino, etc.) for their softness, yes, but above all for their durability and longevity.
Each season, we develop our own colors. Exclusive shades, sometimes bright, sometimes essential. Colors designed to stand the test of time, not to disappear next spring. I firmly believe that true modernity lies in durability. Our knitwear is made to be worn often. Loved for a long time.

Made from 100% extra-fine merino wool, certified RWS, sourced from New Zealand.
It stands out for its appearance and feel, reminiscent of cashmere.
Both spinning and knitting are carried out in China, in a historic factory with recognized expertise, with which we work in complete confidence. They have their technical requirements: perfect mastery of yarn processing (washing, dyeing, twisting of extra-fine merino wool) to reveal its full softness, and a range of high-tech machines that guarantee consistent and precise knitting tension, which is essential for the fit, durability, and final quality of the knit.
Nothing is left to chance: we select, adjust, and rework the yarns and colors until we achieve the level of quality and softness that we believe is right. For me, that's what makes a beautiful knit.
